GWAR and the Slave Pit have officially “Leaked” the first track from the new album LUST IN SPACE due on August 18th via Metal Blade Records. “Let Us Slay” can now be heard at the band’s official MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/gwarofficial

Sez Oderus, GWAR's warty lead singer and convicted whale-molester, "This song deals with the human race’s lust for blood, all the while maintaining the lie of ‘Thou shalt not kill’...It calls upon the humans to embrace their love of death (and therefore GWAR), shed their hypocritical trappings, and proceed with the apocalypse. It's going to happen anyway, so they might as well enjoy it!"

There are unconfirmed reports that "Let Us Slay" will be the first video track, to be directed by Dave Brodsky, of "School's Out" fame.

In other Scumdog-related news, GWAR has announced that they will be appearing at the San Diego Comic-Con for a signing session. The signing will take place on Thursday July 23rd from 1pm-3pm PST on the second floor of the Con.

We continue the countdown to Aug 18th, when you can hear "Lust in Space" in its full
glory!

not bad, I'm glad to see they are staying metal and not going goofy punk

They got over that, listen to the last three albums for proof of heaviness.
