JARBOE IS SALOME
from Season of Mist news
Latest release: "Mahakali" (CD digipak)
MP3 - JARBOE - MAHAKALI - Mahakali, of Terrifying Countenance

After having embodied dark goddess Maha Kali on her latest album in 2008 and having composed the music for the "The Path" videogame early 2009, JARBOE is now involved again in a story based on another mystical female character and a videogame, but this time it is both together! Once again teaming up with Belgian independent game development studio Tale of Tales (who had also created "The Path"), JARBOE did voice acting and atmospheric music in the "Fatale" videogame, a digital download for PC and Mac. "Fatale" is an interactive vignette in real time 3D inspired by the story of Salome, the biblical princess and protagonist in Oscar Wilde's stage play. For further information, check out Tale of Tales' website or contact press@tale-of-tales.com

Gira was the key to her success. She's nothing without him.

Surprisingly, one my of my favorite SWANS tracks "I remember who you are", is sung entirely by her.

I only have heard her on the album with Neurosis. She is incredible as is that album.

I was disappointed by that collaboration. If it was Gira or Westberg with Neurosis, I bet that would have been really intense.

Arktouros, ever heard J2? That = LOL.

Well, in theory it SHOULD have been a worthy collaboration. Unfortunately, it went down the same road as the Neurosis collaboartion. The road known as failure.

collaboration, rather.
