A PERFECT CIRCLE RETURNS FROM HIATUS
Band Will Tour This Fall; Jimmy Kimmel Live Performance on Oct. 27
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 – A Perfect Circle have returned from their self-imposed hiatus. The band, led by Maynard James Keenan (Tool, Puscifer) and Billy Howerdel (Ashes Divide), will embark on a five-city tour this fall (dates and ticket on-sale information will be announced shortly).
Shows in Phoenix (Marquee Theatre), Los Angeles (Avalon), Seattle (Showbox at The Market) and San Francisco (The Fillmore) will be three-night stops with each night featuring one of A Perfect Circle’s three albums in its entirety (Mer de Noms, Thirteenth Step and eMOTIVe). Las Vegas (The Pearl) will be a two-night outing (Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step).
The band will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Oct. 27.
A Perfect Circle have sold four million records in the U.S. After the band announced their hiatus in 2005, Keenan focused on Tool , launched the multimedia project Puscifer and worked on his burgeoning Arizona vineyards. Howerdel went on to form Ashes Divide who released their debut album, Keep Telling Myself It’s Alright, in 2008.

AARRRHGHGHGHG 3 nights in each city, each night performing one of their 3 full lengths in it's entirety?!!!! Looks like i have to go to las vegas. This is crazy, i NEED To see Mer de Nom in it's entirety. have to go, have to go, have to go.... |
holy shit, i would kill to see Mer De Noms in full. i don't give a rats ass about the other albums, but that one is awesome. i have only seen one song from APC live, back in 01 when they toured with NIN i got there late and walked in just as they started "Judith". i have missed them every time since. |

i was at that show and saw the whole performance but i was completely unfamiliar with the album since it had not yet been released. |
I caught them on the Thirteenth Step tour at the Centrum. Great show. The only thing they didn't play that I wanted to hear was "Breña". |

i slept in my truck that night after the show and went to metalfest the next day after drinking beer for breakfast |
Hopefully they can pull this off better than STP did |
one of the most boring shows I even had the unfortunate chance to sit through. Opening for NIN at the Centrum in 2002 was so boring and their music was so terrible that I wanted to bisect my own penis just to have something else to focus on. Why do people make music this bad? |
i saw them in '04 at DCU after 13th step came out. had both albums memorized by then so of course i thought every song ruled. the fiber-optic trees alone were worth the ticket price. and they closed with judith. |

I had DLed a copy of "mer de noms" a couple weeks before this show, and i was absolutely in a trance for the entire show. And no, it was not because of drugs.
Yeah, there stuff was way laid back, and there was nothing of a "stage show" to speak of (besides a big orange and purple tapestry with all the astrological signs on it.) and they DID play all their songs slower than the record versions, but i couldn't get enough. I loved every second.. |
I also love 13th stop. I don't like eMOTIV, but i think MDN and 13th step are both masterpieces. |
13th step is a great album for hangover pot smoking |

That was so good. I'd love to see Mer de Noms in full...no east dates though of course. |

13th step is a great record for coming off drugs. Seeing as the whole record is about the endless cycle that addicts go through.. Which the really nail on the head. I don't think i've ever heard another record convey all of the emotions that go along with drug addiction as well as that record does. good stuff. |

the NIN performance was one of the best things i've ever witnessed. The Fragile FTW. |
The Fagile is great.
I'm still shaking my head over With Teeth :( |
In my entirely biased, and likely frowned-upon opinion, this band isn't real.
Notgunnadoit. |
AHHH WITH THA TEEEEEEETHAHHHHHHHHHH |
I knew it would happen if we BELIEVED....
what dates is this happening? |
the fragile was amazing musically, but the vocals and lyrics totally killed those CDs are like a butterface. |

nin never had good lyrics. he has his moments...broken and tds are good overall but a wordsmith he ain't |
anyone that listens to NIN for lyrics fails. Although hurts aren't too bad.
In fact, I never really liked his vocals too much. Some songs they're decent but others are ok.
Problem with with teeth was he sounded like a whiney lil bitch. |
i really only like the lyrics for Fragile and Downward ...but i love those lyrics. |
do a status update about it with one sentence of NIN lyrics. oh wait |
do a facebook stalking about it |
