That theater is incredible. Too bad Detroit is such a dump. It would have been an amazing (though probably impossible) renovation project. I also really liked the old French Renaissance style house that was undoubtedly a gust of wind away from falling over on the photographer.

It's true. I'd vote Detroit as the most depressing city ever. I stayed there for two months for an internship and man it was gloomy there. I worked for a rap record label and at one point I drove one of the artists (King Gordy if you must know) to his uncle's place and along the way he pointed out where various friends were killed.

I bet my grandfather's band played here back in the day.

and I agree that there's so much of Detroit that should be saved.
