Sadly, Mark Hot-Stuff Fucking Richards has decided his short time with BOARCORPSE has come to an end. We all still love Mark, and we understand that the level of commitment we ask of our members is very time consuming. You don't need to worry though, Mark will still be slamming it up with COMPOSTED all over the world. So while it was oh so short, it was fun while it lasted.

by all means, do you have the material to learn from? If you do, and you're serious, then pick a song, and learn it.... learn them as they're recorded, or change stuff, whatever you want.. just make sure you're tight with the song. |

We will probably still need a guitarist in a couple months. (I say this because we've been looking for a 2nd guitar player for.... about 2 years now.) You've gotten my hopes up in the past, saying that you'd like to try out, and stuff came up, and it didn't happen. (And we KNOW you're capable of playing the stuff.) We'd obviously love to have someone we could get along with in the band, and we all like you, but GOD-DAMNIT Jimmy, if you say you're gonna try out, make it happen. Learn a song, and come play it with us.... you know you want to. |

i do want to, i really want to, i know it's hard for you to believe me and i completely understand but things are much different for me now jim, practically a complete 180. it sucks that i wont be able to jam for atleast 2 months but if the offer is still there i would love to take advantage of it. i get my cell phone back in a couple weeks so i'll explain more about my situation then, til then..take care, hope all is well |

I understand your situation, and I don't hold anything against you from before. I also respect you re-prioritizing your life, and totally understand why you won't be around for a couple months... that being said, I DO expect you to know how to play a whole song when you get back.... not just what Eric's doing either. I expect you to write 2nd guitar parts where you think appropriate, and to double/harmonize where you think appropriate. A big part of us trying out a guitar player is seeing how you write to our stuff....

We practice 2-3 times a week, but have been happy in the past with singers showing up once a week.
We DO have a PA for people to try out with...
We practice in South Boston, a 5minute walk from the redline "Broadway" stop, which is one stop from the South Station stop. (Commuter Rail) And it's 2-3 minutes off of both 93 and 90.
We don't have many requirements of people:
-putting the necessary work into learning/witting their parts.
-Not being a duche bag.
-Living either withing T range, or having a car
-Having a job.
