Hopefully Vital Remains doesn't have the same old boring set they usualy have.. No old songs, no new songs.. Just the same songs off of Dechristianize and Icons of Evil.. Boring!! Still using Glen Benton's name for exposure.. I personally like songs from Dawn of the Apocolypse better.. How about something from new album? Will they even be ready for this tour? No!

Are you a fan of Vital Remains Jesus? If not I'm going to smash you! I agree with you on hearing new songs though.. Hellfire & plague to all of those who oppose VR!!
Definitely gonna catch this tour in San Fransicko. I found an awesome venue that has a lot of metal shows up there. Only problem is that we usually sleep in the car if we get too hammahd cause it's a fuckin gnarly ride home.
I thought they were pretty boring when I saw them. Speed for speed's sake. I think I actually fell asleep, which has only happened at one other show, Misery Index...

I hear that, I just like watching John Longstreth do work.
For everyone that wants tickets, please pick them up from Sexcrement. We have them cheaper than at the door ($15) and you'll get a lapdance from me (or my guitar player if I'm not available). I have a PayPal account or you can send a money order. I can mail them up to Wednesday probabaly, or if you show up early enough I can get them to you there.
And you are NOT supporting pay to play by purchasing advance tickets from us.
Listen. If anyone in the new bedford/fall river area is going to this...

It was a great show. Sexcrement killed it. They should have played a song or two more and they were my girlfriend's favorite band of the night.
Abysmal Dawn was tight although a little boring after a while. Pretty sure their vocalist does inhales.
Vital Remains was awesome. Very pumped I got to see them. I met Tony and he's actually a nice guy, even signed the DVD of theirs I bought off him. A couple of sound issues with the drummer, he was off time a few times but other than that, great set.
Origin was my favorite of the night. They are easily one of the best live metal bands I've ever seen. Everything was flawless and Jayson is still a funny bastard. All the vocals sounded great from all three of them. John sounded monstrous. They played more from Antithesis than anything else and I would have preferred to hear more of the new album live. Regardless, they were spot on.
Hate Eternal was great even though the crowd thinned out a little. I think Erik's vocals sound better live than on record. He had one guitar issue but recovered quickly and kept the song alive. New stuff sounded good. They played a couple tracks from I, Monarch which I appreciated. I like that album. I didn't stay for the whole set however, I had like an almost 2 hour drive home.
oh and someone from the Palladium asked if I could only shoot photos of the band with no one from the crowd in any of the shots....a liability, since when? the fuck happened to that place?
