If I was mick Id be in that band, becuase unlike the rest of us theyre probably making millions, well maybe not millions but at least hundreds of thousands. If I knew I was goign to be making that kind of money, I could quit my day job and quite possibly buy a house, new car, the best of any equipment I wanted, and invest the rest into a mutual fund or something I would play for a band as shitty as sum41, of course there would have to be a side project but honestly you cant say you wouldnt mind the cash

no doubt slipknot is making millions...and unfortunatley, the new album will make even more, because it targets teenage girls that are depressed and want to die. fans of their first album will either shun them or accept them with their tail between their legs.

No doubt that some of them listen to death metal. A couple of them were in Anal Blast, so that gives it away.

what it boils down to is the money. i was talking to casey chaos (amen) a couple weeks ago about how shannon larkin(drums) left amen for godsmack. i said it was prety weak.....etc etc, but casey just said, "hey man, he needed the money, he has a family and shit"

I heard a new Slipknot song on one of the late shows, it sounds like metalcore. Clean singing and spoken word parts; no screams.

I just read an interesting article from some of the members of Slipknot that said; they didn't even want to do another album, that they were through after Iowa. They had signed a 3 record deal with Roadrunner(sound familiar to Deicide fans anyone) and that they wanted the third release to be a re-release of Mate-Feed-Kill-Repeat and that they were through, but good-ole RoadRunner wasn't having it. So here we have this new cd which all the old fans seem to be lashing out against as well as the mainstream of shit. We'll see how far they get now because it sounds to me like they have had enough of this thing called Slipknot. I think it's not much longer before they call it quits.

I hope they call it quits, that band is so queer.

There were only a few songs I liked, and if they do break up at least they left us with a kick ass song on the last album; Pulse Of The Maggots
