After nearly 5 years, Disengaged has called it quits.
They are playing one last show:

July 31st at the Chopping Block with Random Acts of Violence, Kevorkian's Angels, Dead Like Death and Bugs and Rats.

Any other shows they were on, they just aren't playing.

Me either, I've been working with Disengaged since day one of Notcommon and this is terribly depressing for me.

Do you guys want to take their spot on that mini-tour in september?

They don't want to do anything else, I kind of wish they would have stayed together for the NotCommon showcase but it took alot for Ed to convince Beakey even to do the 31st, so I am told.

The end of Disengaged:

Beakey isn't into it anymore. We will, under no circumstances, replace him. He is what made Disengaged what it was. We talked him into one last show, and the 31st was picked because we are good friends with all the bands, and figured it would be the best way to go. Sorry to anyone who was planning on going to the others shows, but they're just not gonna happen. Thanks to everyone who supported us over the last couple years. Come to the show the 31st, it will be a hell of a time.
