I'll bring a sign for you. |
ya you can hold the zombie mosh sign, its an honor we bestow upon few people |
Last time I was moshing at the Block the tall door/bartender guy reminded me of the "No Slamming" rule, so watch out guys ;)
What better way to honor the deaths of 3000 Americans and the first attack on American soil in 60 years then getting trashed and baked in the metal scum alley!!
Oh yeah, I guess I'll probably watch some bands too... |

haha |
the alley is so american it makes me want to cry |
i love that alley. open drug/alcohol use every time we play that place and not once has a cop even bothered entering. ima pour a beer out in that alley for all the innocent people killed that day and say "thanks israel for making me a puppet to something i don't give a shit about!!" |
This really should be on the front page. |
I hope you guys check out bitchslicer, I think you will all like them. |
I still want to hear Noosebomb, any mp3s anywhere? |

i posted this 2 days ago for you, you silly bastard |
I was drunk, Joe, that's why I didn't notice.
Yeow Don NO MEE, MAYN!!(falls on the floor in a stooper) |
I never got what the distance between the A and the Caps Lock is for.
like why point that out? |
to point out how close it is to the A key and how lazy you are for not turning it off. duh! |
OFF WITH LOWER CASE'S HEAD! |
CAPS LOCK IS BROOOOOOOOOOTAL |
I gotta buy that Bitchslicer cd. |
zombie mosh or no zombie mosh tonight?
IT CAME FROM THE NUTSACK! |
Dissector said: I gotta buy that Bitchslicer cd. |
Can bitchslicer use your bands bass rig? |
Im shining up the skullet for you guys. |
SKULLET! SKULLET! SKULLET! |
No zombie mosh for a while. Don't feel like getting into the storey. We'll bring the sign though so if anybody wants to grab it and do whatever during our set its no big deal.
I don't think there will be a problem with Bitchslicer using our rig. Drums too or just guitar shit? |
Joe, I might need your help to get me in to a 21+ show one last time, be prepared. |

kick-ass show everyone, nicely done \m/ |
dissector: fast at playing guitar, slow at tuning. they were minus the zombie mosh friend so they got assuck to hold a sign for like 3 seconds. they played the track "wrath". the drums on that track are awesome; so nice and thick. they got a sampler so there were a bunch of clips.
hirudinea: man, I want that :w: shirt... great set, ending with the new track from the upcoming watchmaker split, a track that they've played a few times before.
bitch slicer: hilarious tracks/topics. joe n/c was in the front smiling the whole time. they ended with a hank williams tune, your cheating heart. that was awesome.
abhorred: bastards! I was planning on compalining about the 3 songs, 1 minute not being played for a while, but then *bang* you did it. awesome crowd response for them. they ended with a couple covers. second to last song ended and Mark ran up and pounded the beginning of Reign in blood... then they teased playing part of the beginning of RIB, but then went into race riots.
noosebomb: damn you, I still have king of the show stuck in my head. they played some new tracks. funny they sounded a bit influenced by the pixies, but maybe that was just me hearing something. they ended with venom. as I said, I hate when venom does their songs, but I love venom covers. |
the show was fantastic. My pants smell like sewage though/ |
Every band there was great. Abhorred, that was your best show I've ever seen just amazing!
We had to cut 2 songs off our set list, an Impetigo cover, and Leper Of Marjorie Road due to Tyler's tuning (shakes fist)
And Rev, the pics are awesome! Great job thanks a bunch. Sorry I couldn't support and buy a sweatshirt but I'm just broke. |
hey man, some how the tuning of my guitar was fucked up every which way, so i decided fuck it move on, still fun for me |
this is the greatest picture ever:
i fell out of tune a lot too.
i'll give a review of the show when i get back from work. |
Great show had by all and AWESOME CROWD RESPONSE. Rev, the pics of our set are the best ever. Thanks a lot.
Dissector: great set. I love brutal DM of any kind and they were no exception. Great song titles too, especially "Zombies Raped Your Girlfriend" or something like that. I wish I had picked up a CD but I was too buzzed to remember to do anything.
Hirudinea: What can I say. They are amazing everytime I see them. I love the wall of noise thing they have going on. Cant wait to hear their split with Watchmaker. Mike was so buzzed that when I was leaving at the end of the night he shouted "Happy 9/11". HAHA.
Bitchslicer: Another band with some awesome song titles. I have to be honest, I was not really into them, not because they were bad but because I just like my metal more brutal than that. For the style that they were playing however, I thought they were good. The guitarist was cranked up to ear-splitting volume and it reminded me of how good those old Peavey amps sound.
Abhorred: Guys, you blew me away. When you were done, I think I said to Stephanie "I dont want to even go on stage after seeing those guys."
Absolutely fucking brutal. And Jeff told me that your drummer has only been playing for 1.5 years????? Ive played since I was 8 and still cant play like that. Simply amazing.
Thanks again guys, lets do it again soon!!!!
Every band there last night wasy great. But the greatest band of the whole night I would have to say was Rock Toxin!! Don't you agree? |
I agree, rock toxin stole the show not only with their stage presence, but their warming family moral lesson we all learned at the end. |
rock toxin was amazing. its too bad they couldnt have played longer. |

my finest hour... |
i dont know how you did that, but its funny as hell
i still dont feel like giving a review, cause i'm lazy.
but i will say that Boo-Koo energy drinks kick ass. the can is the size of a fat pringles can.
speed in a can. |
yarrrgggg it was a great show...
dissector- i really like this band. they play an awesome mix of old death metal, grind, and thrash. they sounded great and were really tight. too bad they didn't play the impetigo song, but oh well. what impetigo song was it going to be? i still have to check out the demo.
bitchslicer- tight band, great sound, but not really my thing.
abhorred- headbanging, thrashing, and black flag/slayer covers. whats not to like? they made me want to throw bar stools. awesome set.
NOOSEBOMB- WELL THE KING AND THE SKULLET WERE IN FULL FORCE LAST NIGHT. THEY PLAYED A COUPLE GREAT NEW SONGS, THE HITS, AND A VENOM COVER "SCHIZO"!!!! THAT WAS AN AMAZING SET. ONE OF THE BEST BANDS OUT THERE ON THE PLANET RIGHT NOW.
We we're gonna <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=cover&v=56">cover</a> Revenge of the Scabby Man and bust into Venereal Warts.
I really like last song you guys played, it reminded me a lot of Autopsy. That was my first time ever hearing you guys, I dug it a lot. |
what the fuck happened to my post, do any of you guys see the html code in there or is it just my computer fucking up again? |
how the fuck did I do that? I didn't link anything, unless I don't think I did... |
yeah more than likely, I should really take the time and get rid of it all |

AGREED!!!!! |
HAD A GREAT TIME THE OTHER NIGHT. IT FELT GOOD TO GO TO A SHOW &
ACTUALLY PLAY. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR STAYING UNTIL THE END. HOPE EVERYONE GOT THEIR FILL OF THE SKULLET. |
I had a great time, I thought all the bands were awesome. I swear that Abhorred and Hirudinea get better every single show. It must have felt great from going from the Paradise to the Chopping Block for them.
It was fun seeing Dissector again, those guys are awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed Bitchslicer, I have had the CD for a while now and was glad to finally see them live. NOOSEBOMB WAS KILLER, EVEN ALL THOSE STRANGE COLLEGE KIDS SEEMED TO ENJOY THEM, AND IF THEY DIDN'T ATLEAST THEY BROUGHT IN SOME EYE CANDY WITH THEM. |
Some bitch at the end of the night was talking shit... "These bands were the worst musicians I've ever heard".... And Dianne was like "Hey! You can't say that! These are my favorite guys!" She totally put the chick in her place, even though she continued to try to shit talk. It was great... Choppin' Block Pube = metal as fuck! |
In Butthead voice: "Uhh, huh huh... you typed PUBE!"
The ABHORRED pics are great, especially the MOSH pics! |
Diane rules, the block has the best staff. |
i would have to say this show kicked so much ass because everyone had just the right amount of alcohol in them! those mosh pics are sick, especially because we had so little room to thrash out, but we did, if there's a will theres a way! |
