New site? Maybe some day.
so i finally watched this yesterday, and i must say it was pretty fucking dumb. Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman are great actors, and they were pretty much the saving grace. the portrayal of Bruce Waynes parents death was different than the first Batman, and was horribly acted. i am no Batman extraordinaire, but i thought the whole movie could have been done better. it was cool to know of his origins, but it was more or less another pointless reason to put the name "Batman" in a movie. |
there was a thread about this movie. perhaps keith mutiny can find it for you. |
you and all your technical mumbo jumbo. i used the search thing but nothing came up. |
why could i find it? haha |
Batman Begins kicked unheard of amounts of ass. Period. |
I personally thought this movie was fucking amazing, and was everything a Batman movie should have been, and I can't wait for the sequel. As long as there are no nipples on the costume. |
really. i'm surprised, i was so unimpressed with it. maybe i should rewatch it, i mean was in bed and stoned out of my gourd, but i just couldnt get into it. |
I agree about the parents killing scene. It was lame. In the comic, Jack Napier is the true killer. |
One of the best superhero movies ever made. |
In the comic Jack Napier is NOT, I repeat NOT, the true killer of Batman's parents. The real murderer is Joe Chill. I know that a lot of people are lead to believe that its Jack Napier (the man who in the 1989 Tim Burton movie who would become the Joker, but the Joker is still truly not Jack Napier either just a name that he used) killed his parents but that's not true. Introduced in Batman #47 as Joe Chill this is the man that Brue Wayne would later find out who murdered his parents. In Detective Comics #235, Batman learned that Chill was not a robber, but actually a hitman who had murdered the Waynes on orders from a Mafia boss named Lew Moxon.

i thought the movie was alright...nothing spectacular but it was still fun to watch |
i think it was alot better than any other batman movie i've ever seen. I liked it alot. |
Yeah, it was easily on par with the first movie... but I actually think it was even better than that. |
Yeah, I know, nothing to be ashamed of, you should have seen the outrageous nerds in Philly this weekend, man it was insane i swear i saw the Philly version of Dillon
I liked Batman Begins a lot I thought it was the best adaptation of Batman outside of the initial first Tim Burton movie and the animated series that wasn't the comics. It had the best Jim Gordon too. |
i thought this movie was the best batman movie since "batman returns". i think it portrayed batman very well; the overall vibe was very dark and menacing, unlike say "batman forever" which was too flashy and over the top as far as imagery.
and yes, nipples on the batsuit are a big no-no. |
what's wrong with bat-nipples |
you think his nipples are in the shape of bats? everything else is |
this movie was awesome, you should see other works by the director and you would appreciate it more |
Yeah Batman Begins was nasty. I remember thinking to myself man I hope this doesn't suck and luckily it didn't. I wonder if they'll do a remake of the origional Batman with the Joker seeing as how Batman Begins ended with a Joker reference. |
I think they are producing 5 more films. |
they better not remake the original. NO ONE can play the joker better than Nicholson. the only person that would do it is Mark Hamill, seeing how he is the voice anyways. |
Mark Hamill is a horrendous overacting piece of shit. He would be too over the top, even as The Joker. |
you have obviously never seen batman the animated series
mark hamill does the voice for joker and it's unbelievably amazing how good of a job he does |
I know. He rules as a voice actor. As a regular actor he should be shot. |
This was a great movie, even if it was not 100% canon. |
