One or two smacks gets the message across. Not excessive beating or slapping in the face. I really don't think this video is even that bad. Kids get beat waaaaaaaaay worse than this. Kids are abused on a daily basis; the fact that people are even debating that this was warranted or not just shows how watered down this video is compared to kids violently getting smashed in the face every day, or raped in the ass by their own father.

If the guy worked as a judge on child abuse cases, he had to have become desensitized by it due to his job. Obviously to the point where not only did he think this was normal behavior by the fact that he was around it so much, but also accepted it in his own life.
